Stoughton Davidson has rich roots in the San Joaquin Valley dating back to 1924, and since then has grown to become one of the Central Valley's largest and most progressive accounting firms, whose clientele range from small, closely-held businesses and individuals to large partnerships and corporations across a wide variety of industries. With a reputation for high quality professional work and dedicated service to its clients, Stoughton Davidson has grown to one of the largest locally owned professional service firms in the San Joaquin Valley.
The partners of the firm are Thomas K. McFerson, J. Scott Bristol, Scott T. Dye, Tracy A. Garone, Jeffrey K. Tatsumura, Jason B. Weber, Jennifer A. Tozlian, Christopher M. Tozlian, and Michelle R. Ellis. One of our retired partners, Ronald A. Ruether, is still very active in the firm. All of the firm's partners and managers are licensed certified public accountants.

We provide tax, audit, accounting, and consulting services to many agricultural producers and processors, as well as companies in many other industries, such as manufacturing, engineering, retail and professional services firms including medical practices, as well as to not-for-profit and governmental entities.

Firm Professional Memberships
Stoughton Davidson holds memberships in the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the California Society of Certified Public Accountants (CalCPA), and the Private Companies Practice Section (PCPS) of the AICPA. The firm adheres to AICPA quality control standards in all areas of practice.
Peer Review
As members of the PCPS, we have agreed to subject our auditing policies and procedures to an independent peer review. A peer review is required every three years. Our most recent review was conducted in 2013, the result of which was a Pass, which is the best result that can be achieved. A copy of our peer review report can be viewed here.
