Kevin M. Merritt, CPA

Kevin M. Merritt graduated from the University of Connecticut with a Bachelor of Science Degree from the School of Business with a major in accounting. Kevin spent 3 years at a large regional accounting firm specializing in tax compliance, research and consulting for privately held businesses and their owners in a variety of industries including aerospace, retail, manufacturing, distribution, real estate, and construction. Kevin has extensive experience advising clients on income and estate tax planning including business succession planning. He regularly runs engagements for some of our largest clients and is continuously engaged in the preparation of personal and business income tax returns including multi-state corporate income tax returns. He represents clients before the Internal Revenue Service and various state jurisdictions on individual and corporate income tax audits and sales and use tax issues.

Kevin is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Connecticut Society of Certified Public Accountants, and the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants.
